- Course objectives
- The course deals with modern tools for effective management. The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the methods, tools and systems that are by the professional public perceived as a knowledge base of successful modern management. Theoretical information is accompanied by practical examples and case studies. The course complements the knowledge of other courses and puts them into a holistic management context.

- 1. Introduction, management, techniques, tools, methods, and management systems
2. Tools of strategic management (P5F, BCG, BSC, MBO, PESTLE, KPI)
3. Tools for process, production, and quality management (ISO 9001, Six Sigma, TQM, Lean, Kaizen, EFQM)
4. Change and innovation management tools (SMART, SWOT, CSF, Dephi, Pareto principle, three phases of changes)
5. Marketing and sales tools (5K, TLM, Ansoff matrix, Kano model, CRM, VRIO)
6. Tools of economic and financial management (BEP, TCO, EBIT, NOPAT, EVA, MVA)
7. Tools of computer science and IT management (SOA, EUP, MMDIS, MSDM SERVICE are RUNNING, ASD, BPMN)
8. Facility management tools (analysis of processes, insourcing, outsourcing, SLA, FMS, CAFM)
9. Tools of project management (Gantt, network analysis, RACI, WBS, PMBOK, PRINCE2)
10. Human resources management tools (personal audit, analysis of jobs, social network analysis, BEI, JWM, SSM)
11. Risk and crisis management tools (CLA, CRI, ETA, FTA, FMEA, HAZOP)
12. Summary
The course is based on the methods of presentation, interpretation, confrontation, methods of paradoxes, brainstorming, and participatory methods, problem-solving and case studies. Lectures are methodically based mostly on, information-receptive method.
