Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The course focuses on the practical use of freely available economic data from Czech and foreign sources. The student gains an overview of the availability of data sets in the field of economics, demography, geography, sociology and other relevant fields. Furthermore, the student understands the data providers’ environment and knows how to use their user interface (data selection, filtering, queries, customisation of output). Apart from that, the student is able to work with data on the basic level in the environment of desktop and online tools.
