- Course objectives
- Aims: In this course the student obtains insights into the modelling and design of business processes. Some important topics are handled like descriptive analysis, modelling, simulation and design. Special attention goes to how embed business process modelling within an organization. After following the course the student is able to analyse and design business processes and to validate them.

This course extends the insights and knowledge of business processes. The student obtains interrelation skills to efficiently partake in team work. The student should be capable of writing thorough scientific reports and giving clearly structured oral presentation , for both technical and non-technical audiences. The student should be capable of autonomously understanding the underlying concepts of the course and to apply them un new situation.

Information on the extent and intensity of the course: Přednáška 10 HOD/SEM. - Teacher's information
- Exam consists of an written part (closed book) and a group assignment. It will therefore next to a theoretical part also have a practical component. The evaluation of the group assignment is based on report. For a second chance the group assignment will be replaced by an individual contract. The final evaluation will consist of 50% from the group assignment and 50% from the written exam The written exam covers questions about theory and about the assignment. The second exam session consist of a written exam (closed book - 50%) and an individual project (50%).
