Student si osvojí základní principy překladu, získá představu o ruském odborném stylu a osvojí si obraty, typické pro odborný styl. Student načerpá slovní zásobu potřebnou pro orientaci v hospodářské, politické a právní oblasti. Absolventi tohoto studia budou umět pracovat s odborným textem v ruském jazyce. Budou schopni překládat odborný text z ruštiny do češtiny a naopak.
