Cíle předmětu
The aim of the course is to help students understand the possibilities of funding a project from public sources (the EU and the Czech Republic) and provide them with a basic overview of SW applications which are used for getting grants and subsidies. The course is focused on techniques of project preparation, their management and evaluation; it describes basic principles of project management and provides basic overview of the functionality of individual SW applications which are used in this process. Furthermore, the course focuses on possibilities of funding various kinds of projects from public sources of the EU and the Czech Republic. Students are able to:
- describe basic terminology used in project management,
- define the goal and intention of a project, divide it into units that logically follow one another,
- interpret basic techniques of project planning (PERT, Gantt, CPM),
- create a budget,
- delegate roles among individual members of a project team,
- evaluate risks threatening the realization of a project and argue for proposals on threat prevention,
- explain basic functions of the SW tool called MS Project.
