Course objectives
The objective of the course is to acquire a set of basic knowledge of computer graphics, presentation creation and presentation tools. Students learn the principles of imaging devices, colour theory, raster and vector graphics and their formats, ways and possibilities of presentation including advanced techniques of creating interactive presentations. Upon completion of the course, students acquire practical skills with applications focused on computer graphics, digital photography and its use; they are able to create impressive presentations.

  • 3. Graphic information formats from the point of view of compression algorithms
  • 4. Raster graphics, principle of creating, editing and options of raster graphics
  • 5. Raster graphics software
  • 6. Vector graphics, principle of creating, editing of vector graphics objects
  • 7. Vector graphics software
  • 8. Principles of digital photography and tools for its editing
  • 9. Rules for creating presentations and their graphic design
  • 10. Working with objects in presentation software, students’ own presentations
  • 11. Creating of interactive presentations, advanced techniques of presentation design
