Cíle předmětu
The objective of the course is to familiarise students with basic sociological and psychological approaches that explain the motivation and behaviour of an individual in contemporary society. The chosen topics describe individuals from the micro perspective of their personality (psychology) towards a more general macro view of different groups or institutions (sociology).

  • 2. Personality 1. Potential and competence. Abilities, skills, personality characteristics, attitudes, special dimensions of personality. Personality measurement.
  • 3. Personality 2. Types of people and their expression during work activity. Classical typology. Modern typology. The use of typology in the practice of leadership.
  • 4. Motivation of work activity. Three basic questions of motivation. Theory of Needs. The Effective use of stimuli.
