- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the ethical roots and the current ethical principles in Europe and in the Czech Republic. With regard to the ethical dimension of the company to explain the emergence of the phenomenon of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and the voluntary nature of CSR. To demonstrate the differences between corporate social responsibility of SMEs and of large companies or multinational corporations. To show the importance of CSR for SMEs and the possibility of education in this area.
- Learning outcomes (in Czech)
- Student umí definovat základní etické pojmy a orientovat se v základních etických přístupech. Dále je si vědom hrozeb a faktorů, které mohou významně ovlivňovat jeho jednání. Student je schopen rozvíjet svou morální způsobilost a své prosociální jednání v oblasti vzájemného styku veřejných institucí a občanů s ohledem na etické aspekty jejich interakcí. Student aplikuje různé přístupy při řešení etických dilemat a problémů.

8. Voluntary nature of CSR as an ethical indicator
9. Diversity of large and small enterprises in introducing and implementing CSR
10. European standards of CSR in relation to small and medium-sized enterprises
11. Education of small and medium sized enterprises in the area of CSR
12. Self-education and self-promotion of small and medium sized enterprises in the area of CSR
The course is base especially on the dialogical verbal methods, reproductive method, the method of problem interpretation and the heuristic method. Within the practical application of knowledge and the solution of case studies, the dialogue participatory methods are mostly used.
