- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The aim of the subject is to master the basics of business English. The subject builds the basic knowledge of business English and teaches students to work with it and use it in particular business situations. Students also learn both formal and informal language forms of business English. The subject tries to show students individual differences in the area of business in particular states and to prepare them for their future work not only from the perspective of language but also social skills and abilities. This subject requires successfully finished subjects English for Business 1 and 2 and prepares students to pass a follow-up subject English for Business 4 successfully the next semester. Subject plan: 1. A new job - Introductions and introducing yourself - Welcoming new recruits 2. A new job - Dream jobs - Grammar : to be, have, have got 3. A new job - Writing: New employee announcement - Language point: conjunctions 4. Organizations and roles - Different types of company structures, their advantages and disadvantages - Describing a typical working day 5.
