Course objectives
In this course, students learn HTML and CSS languages to create their own web pages.
Syllabus
  • 1. Introduction to course. Development environment Visual Studio.
    2. Internet and its services. IP address. Domains and subdomains.
    3. Introduction to WWW pages. HTML syntax.
    4. Structure of HTML files. Header, body.
    5. HTML tags for text formatting. Paragraphs, text formating, text alignment, text effects. Lists and numbering.
    6. HTML tags for tables. Table, row, cell, alignment, borders and margins.
    7. HTML tags for images. Insertion of an image to HTML page, alignment, crop, active images, alias.
    8. CSS styles. Syntax, fundamental constructs.
    9. Advanced CSS topics.
    10. HTML tags for input forms. Text box, combo box, check box, radio button, button.
    11. HTML tags for lines, borders, margins, related CSS style commands.
