Studenti se seznamují se základními principy komunikace v síti Internet (služby, adresování, domény, webová místa). Poznávají a používají jazyk HTML (struktura, popis značek, způsoby implementace). Seznamují se s rozšířením jazyka DHTML (struktura, popis značek, způsoby implementace). Také pracují se skriptovacím jazykem JAVA (struktura, popis značek, způsoby implementace). Používají a umějí obsluhovat systémy pro hromadnou komunikaci (e-mail, web konference). Jsou informováni o inovačních trendech (parsery, XMLS apod.). Konkrétně studenti používají HTML editory, pomocí kterých vytváření a implementují www stránky.
