Course objectives
Aim of this course is to inform about basic parts of the Computer Science and Information Technology which can support Military Decision Making Process and Simulation of Missions.
Syllabus
  • 1.Introduction to decision making – processes of decision making, PACED.
    2.Tools for decision makings – scenarios, decision trees, flow charts.
    3.Single criterion decision making.
    4.Multi-criteria decision making – basic methods.
    5.Multi-criteria decision making – advanced methods.
    6.Other aspects of decision making – psychological aspects, personal experience, historical experience, culture, ethics.
    7.Solving decision making supply and transportation tasks using the shortest path method.
    8.Solving decision making supply and transportation tasks using travelling salesman problem.
    9.Application of linear programming in military.
    10.Models and simulations.
