- Course objectives
- The goal of the course is to provide knowledge related to information systems, their position in organizations, and their typical components. The students will understand to the process of development and deployment of information systems especially from the user and management perspectives. Special attention is paid to database systems which are important elements of information systems. The students will be able to specify requirements on a database for a given domain, develop a data model describing the structure of the data, implement the database, and create non-trivial database queries.
