Course objectives
The course focuses on understanding the behavior of the economy as a whole, and illustrate how the current economic theory addresses the key problems of the economy . The aim is to introduce students to look at the economy on a national scale , teach them to use macroeconomic concepts and understand performance indicators. Students can: - Characterize the basic relationships between markets products , services, labor and assets of the economy , - Measure the output of the economy in relation to the issue of the economic cycle , - Explain the influence on consumption , investment, - Define the economic policy of the state , - Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of fiscal and monetary policy , - Argue the emerging effects of macroeconomic imbalances in the economy disorders (inflation and unemployment) , - Assess the present economic problems , - Use basic mathematical and statistical apparatus for modeling, analysis and interpretation of economic phenomena , - To search, sort, classify and interpret economic data and information , - collaborate with other team members, which has a clearly defined goal and actively present their own views or opinions of the team.

    3. Aggregate demand and aggregate supply. The business cycle. Economic growth.
    4. The Phillips curve: Inflation and unemployment. Test of knowledge II.
    5. Monetary and fiscal policy.
    6. Foreign exchange and trade.
