Strategic analyzes serve as basic material for the formulation of a strategic goal, either company-wide or partial goals of individual activities, centers or areas of the company. The aim of the present contribution was to carry out a comprehensive analysis of a municipal company, which mainly deals with waste processing for the territory of the city of Havířov, with a proposal of strategies for the development of the company in a dynamic business environment. The result is PESTLE analysis, Porter's five forces model, VRIO analysis and subsequent SWOT analysis.
