Abstract
V originále
Student-based evaluation of university lecturers´ performance is a complex multi-criteria problem that contains various types of uncertainty. The uncertainty arises when the qualitative criteria are considered which makes the partial evaluation vague and when the importance of criteria cannot be described precisely. The necessity of dealing with uncertainty in student-based evaluation of lecturers´ performance leads to fuzzy decision models since fuzzy sets theory brings a suitable tool for describing and dealing with the uncertainty. In this paper, the fuzzy multi-criteria evaluation model based on the fuzzy weighted average operation will be developed for student-based lecturers´ performance evaluation. The criteria used within the model as well as their importance described by normalized fuzzy weights will be selected based on students' answers in questionnaires and results from team brainstorming. An application of the constructed model will be given to illustrate a practical use of the model in student-based university lecturers´ evaluation.
