The article deals with the management of human resources as an important part of the operation of a heating plant. The aim of the article is to propose other benefits that would better stimulate employees in the context of labor productivity and work performance management. In the submitted article, the questionnaire method describes the situation in the Havířovská teplárenská společnost, a.s. in the area of employee incentive tools, and further incentives have been proposed following the results of the questionnaire survey. The article has found new benefits for existing employees, with nearly 38% of all employees wishing to pay the first three days of temporary incapacity to work. The article can be a supporting material for heat-producing enterprises of comparable size in human resource management.
