Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce to students the basic aspects of entrepreneurship with focus on the specifics of small and medium-sized enterprises. Furthermore, the course aims to develop students’ knowledge and skills leading to practical application of the gained knowledge in a project of establishing and managing their own business. Having completed the course, students will be able to analyse business environment in the Czech Republic and in their region, identify prospective business opportunities, create a business plan, decide on the choice of the legal status of their business, carry out the process of establishing a company, managing the company, and they will also know how to handle basic processes of strategic, financial, business, and marketing management of the company.

    • 4. Legal Forms for Entrepreneurial Ventures (Sole Proprietorships, Partnerships, Corporations, Limited Partnerships, Limited Liability Partnerships, S Corporations, Limited Liability Companies, B Corporations, L3C).
