Information for obtaining credits

Requirements:

• Attendance – 75%

• Active participation

• Progress test – 70%–100%

• Final test – 70%–100%

• Oral exam (theory and vocabulary)

Attendance:

• Before taking the final test, please ensure your attendance is in order. The attendance sheet is available during classes, or you can stop by my office, or email me if you are unsure.

Final test: 

• The types of exercises will be similar to those in the progress test (it will include questions on vocabulary, grammar, useful expressions, and other topics covered in class).
• You will have approximately 40 minutes for the test (possibly more).
• The first exam date will be in December; additional dates (at least one regular term and several retake terms) will be available in January. Please always register for the dates in the IS system.

Oral exam: 

• You may take this exam only after successfully passing the final test. The oral exam will take approximately 15 minutes. It will include a discussion, answering questions, a short reading task + exercise, spelling, and more.
• There will also be several oral exam dates in January. If there are more of you (e.g., 4 or more students), we can arrange a group date when I can examine you. I will try to accommodate to your time availability; however, I prefer the dates I propose in the system. 
• Please do not wait until the very end of the exam period to complete the course.

Based on the number of points you get from the requirements, you receive your final grade.
