Course objectives
The aim of the Business English Elementary course is to consolidate and deepen students’ basic knowledge and skills in using the English language in everyday business situations and to prepare them for subsequent study of specialized professional English.
Syllabus

1. Jobs. Countries, nationalities. Possessives.


2. Products and services. Company types and activities. Present simple.


3. Location and workplace. There is/are, some/any.


4. Technology. Phrasal verbs. Adverbs of frequency.


5. Communication. Documents and correspondence. Past simple.


6. Social media and networking. Time expressions. Irregular verbs.


7. Departments and responsibilities. Prepositions of place and movement.


8. Employment. Present continuous.


9. Competition. Comparatives.


10. Teamwork. Superlatives.


11. Travel. Going to. Infinitive of purpose.


12. Calendars and schedules. Present perfect.
