Course objectives
Aim of this subject is to prepare students for a direct application of math skills when solving practical tasks. Mathematical calculations and case studies are difered in accordance with the subject to cover a wide range of disciplines to be covered by studentes in practise. Subject deals with a direct application of the skills studied during the previous semesters to solve practical tasks.

    2. Risk identification, signifikance determination, probability distribution
    - sensitivity analysis
    - uniform distribution
    - triangular distribution
    - yes-no distribution (Bernouli)
    3. Simulation of risk factors dependence
    - correlation
    - envelope method
    4. Monte Carlo simulation
    - simulation procedure
    - outputs evaluation
    5. Risk evaluation and selection of risk variant
    - attitude to risk
    - expected value and dispersion method
    - stochastic dominance method
    - coefficient of variation
    6. Application of integral and differential calculus in costs models
    - methods for cost functions determination
    - application of definite integral
    7. Restoration models
    - continuous model of elderly appliance
    - discreet model of elderly appliance
    8. Deterministic inventory models
    - optimization of inventory costs
    9. Stochastic inventory models
    - loss optimization
    10. Linear programming
    - graphical method for solving problems of linear programming
