The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The aim of this subject is the development of economic education, theoretical knowledge, and also the methodical and practical skills in the area of business economics. The student is able to specify the basic terms of business economics. By passing the subject Business economics 1, the student is able to specify the problems in the area of business economics - within the framework of both theory and practice, focusing on the business, its legal forms, its foundation and cessation, proprietorial and capital construction, costs, yields, the results of the businesses management and their mutual relationships and connections.

    2. Starting an entrepreneurial activity.
    3. Legal forms of entrepreneurship - selection of the legal form of a business, advantages and disadvantages of specific legal forms of a business.
    4. Proprietorial and capital construction of a business, optimal proprietorial and capital structure
    5. Proprietorial and capital construction of a business, financial lever and the tax effect
    6. Tax write-offs, meaning, means of calculation.
    7. Costs of a business, differentiation of costs, Cost function and the methods of its estimation.
    9. Yields and costs of a business, calculations of the relations between profit, volume of production price and costs for heterogeneous productions
