Cílem předmětu je rozvíjení komunikačních znalostí žáků, rozšíření a prohloubení gramatiky (blízká budoucnost, předpřítomný čas, minulý čas jednoduchý) a zdokonalení schopnosti porozumění čteného i mluveného textu.
