Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
Students are acquainted with an idea of a nowadays concept of corporate social responsibility (further CSR) in countries in the Visegrad Group. The students will be able to search for topical information about events in CSR, apply gathered data and implement a project from the CSR area.
Syllabus
  • The course will allow students to compare knowledge about the CSR concept with experience in the V4 countries and put them into practise by planning and implementing CSR projects. It is important that small and middle-sized companies actively participate in it and also domestic and foreign lecturers who research in the CSR area and work in the V4 through the CSR web-platform eXchange provide supervision of the projects.

    1. Introduction of the subject
    2. Theory of CSR
    3. How to gather topical information about CSR
    4. Basic information about a CSR project
    5. CSR in Visegrad countries (Poland)
    6. CSR in Visegrad countries (Slovakia)

Teacher's information
For passing the course Corporate Social Responsibility in the V4 Group the students should pick a project, which they want to take a part in, using CSR web-platform eXange. The students are also obliged to participate in all lectures held by foreign and domestic CSR lecturers working in the V4 countries. Moreover, within their project team they are supposed to describe implementation of the project in a final report consulting with foreign and domestic SCR lecturers. The final report will be defended before a commission where lecturers and representatives of small and middle-sized companies are present.
