Syllabus
  • 1. Food and restaurants (Present simple and continuous; Action and non-action verbs; Talking about eating habits).
    2. Sports (Past tenses: simple/continuous/perfect; When you hear the final whistle (paragraph gap - fill); Talking about sports).
    3. Family and personality (Future forms: going to/will/shall; We are family (predictions); Useful language for describing people).
    4. Money (Present perfect and past simple; My life without money (predictions, WH questions, phrasal verbs); Money questionnaire).
    5. Holidays (Strong adjectives; Present perfect continuous).
    6. Transport (Comparatives and superlatives; Race to the sun; A journey from London to France (numbering activities)).
    7. Modern manners - mobile phones (Must, have to, should (obligations); Culture shock).
