Course objectives
The aim of the course called Language for special purposes 1 – Business English is to manage to use the basics of Business English, enrich students´ vocabulary with specific words of art and gain knowledge about practical aspects of life in companies which use English as a corporate language. The course builds up knowledge of Business English, teaches students how to work with it and use it in particular business situations. Lessons include case studies which enable students to put themselves in a position of being a part of the company and its agenda, discuss problems and their solutions; they also encourage the ability to formulate arguments and work in a team.
